Junior Duty Doctors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to OPD, in-patient, and day-care patients under the supervision of consultants.
  • Provide initial assessment, documentation, and coordination of care for walk-in and referred patients.
  • Support ophthalmologists in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care.
  • Monitor vital signs and manage basic medical emergencies until specialist intervention.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient history, clinical findings, and treatments.
  • Assist in managing patient flow, admissions, discharges, and referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Maintain coordination with nursing staff, optometrists, and administrative teams for smooth clinical operations.
  • Be available on rotation for evening/night/weekend duty shifts as per hospital schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBBS from a recognized medical college and registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Telangana State Medical Council.
  • 0–2 years of clinical experience (Freshers may also apply).
  • Previous exposure to ophthalmology or hospital emergency services is an added advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Clinical judgment and quick decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication skills and a professional bedside manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
