Job summary

The Jr. Engineer - Purchase will be responsible for supporting the purchase and procurement of materials for various real estate projects. This role involves working closely with vendors, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Coordination: Assist in identifying and liaising with potential suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available when needed without excess stock holding.
• Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure accuracy in order details and specifications.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analyses and evaluate purchase alternatives to recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.
• Software Proficiency: MS-Office/ SAP

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within the real estate or construction industry.
• Education: bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field such as B.Tech/B.E/Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in procurement software tools
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
