JOB TITLE: Junior Estimator

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of Glass or Metal industry experience is a must
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work in a team
• Experience in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist senior estimators in preparing cost estimates for projects.
• Gather and compile data on costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project scope.
• Prepare preliminary estimates and assist in reviewing final estimates.
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools.
• Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure accurate project planning.
• If needed, participate in site visits to gather information for estimation purposes.
