CIVIL ESTIMATOR

We are looking for a for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for interior fit-out, civil construction, steel structure, warehouse mezzanine, and renovation projects. The role requires reviewing project drawings and specifications, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, and ensuring that all estimates are completed within the required deadlines while maintaining the company's profit margins.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overheads.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pricing schedules.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, and Operations teams during the tendering process.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.
• Maintain an updated database of material costs, labor rates, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Review variations and prepare cost proposals for additional works.
• Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications, UAE standards, and client requirements.
• Assist the Project Team during project handover after award.
• Monitor market price fluctuations and update estimation rates regularly.
• Prepare value engineering proposals without compromising quality.
• Maintain proper documentation of all estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of estimation experience in the UAE.
• Experience in Interior Fit-Out, Civil Works, Steel Structures, Joinery, Warehouse Mezzanines, and Renovation Projects.
• FRESHERS/OWN VISA PREFERRED

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
