Job Purpose

Responsible for maintaining inventories / stock levels of RM, FG & ingredients & ensure necessary requisitions is made on the right time to avoid stoppage of continuous production lines also involve in loading & unloading activities..

2 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILIITES:

Delivery:

To maintain inventories / stock level of RM, FG & ingredients, also involve in loading & unloading activities. Maintain accuracy of stocks, ensure requisition of materials are placed at the right time to avoid downtime / stoppages in production lines due to non-availability of materials. Issuance of required materials to production as per the daily production plan with proper receipts. Reconcile the physical inventory with stock register on daily / weekly basis. Update the inventory in the register and Tally/ERP software on a daily basis. Maintain registers like Daily stock register, stock movement reports, container despatch reports, job work register. (details of in & out movement of goods on job work basis). Maintain store room in a good condition by stacking the goods over pallets & must be arranged in such a way that FIFO method should be followed with proper bin card system. Carry out loading & unloading activities within the fixed time limit & ensure no delays happens due to any reasons. Ensure despatches of consignments as per the agreed date & time.

People Management:

Ensure manpower availability as per loading & unloading plan to meet the KPI of delivery per day. Allocation of manpower to designated areas & plan the work accordingly that the daily targets are achieved without incurring overtime cost. Manage manpower resource effectively to support supplier & customer delivery requirements. Manage time & attendance within company procedures. Motivate & coach the team to operational success. Work positively with support functions to fully define the processes/procedures / controls relevant to team activities. Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.

General & Task Management:

Ensure ERP entries are done in each process stage wise on daily basis. Take care of space management in shop floor, ensure proper stacking of materials, followed by proper tagging, remove unwanted materials if any & create sufficient space for man & material movement to avoid unforeseen accidents. Timely reporting to authorities in case of any discrepancies arises & clarifications required on day to day affairs to ensure smooth functioning of work.
