Junior Fashion Designer

Job Summary:
You will work closely with our design team to create original clothing designs, develop concepts, and contribute to the overall aesthetic and vision of our brand. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience to grow and develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of new fashion collections, including sketching, fabric selection, and color palettes.
• Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm and create innovative designs.
• Research current fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
• Prepare detailed technical sketches and specifications for production.
• Assist in the creation of mood boards and presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
• Participate in fittings and provide feedback on prototypes and samples.
• Work with the production team to ensure designs are accurately translated into final products.
• Maintain organized records of design concepts, samples, and production materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 6 months to one year experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creative ideas.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
