Position: Sketcher (Fashion/Textile Design)
Company: Motifz Textile Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Punjab (Candidates must be willing to be deployed anywhere in Punjab as per business needs)
Job Type: Full-time

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
• Additional certifications/diplomas in fashion sketching, CAD, or design software will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a sketcher, fashion illustrator, or in a related design role.
• Experience in textile/fashion industry preferred.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Illustration

• Create detailed fashion sketches, technical drawings, and illustrations based on design concepts.
• Develop sketches for garments, prints, embroideries, and patterns as per creative direction.
• Collaborate with designers to visualize and refine product ideas.

2. Technical Development

• Prepare clear and accurate technical drawings for production teams.
• Ensure correct proportion, detailing, and presentation in sketches.
• Support in preparing mock-ups, design boards, and digital files.

3. Coordination & Support

• Work closely with design, product development, and sampling teams.
• Assist in converting design ideas into workable prototypes.
• Provide input in fabric, color, and pattern selection based on sketches.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain an organized archive of sketches, concepts, and final designs.
• Prepare sketch portfolios for presentations and client/management reviews.

Skills RequiredTechnical / Functional Skills

• Strong command over fashion sketching (hand-drawn & digital).
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other design software.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabric textures, and textile patterns.
• Ability to translate creative ideas into detailed sketches and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD systems for fashion design (preferred).
