Junior HSE Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures tailored to logistics and moving operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and hazard analyses for warehouses, transportation activities, and client sites.
• Monitor compliance with UAE labor laws, municipal HSE regulations, and relevant ISO or OSHA standards.
• Deliver regular training and toolbox talks for drivers, porters, packers, and office staff on safety best practices.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect vehicles, lifting equipment, and warehouses for safety compliance.
• Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Civil Defense, Municipality, MOHRE) for inspections, permits, and audits.
• Lead emergency response planning and conduct regular drills.
• Keep HSE documentation, reports, and records in line with internal audit and certification requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Certification is mandatory.
• 0 to 3 years of HSE experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or relocation industries.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE laws and standards.
• Strong communication skills in English; Hindi and Tamil is a plus.
• Proficiency in HSE management systems and incident reporting tools.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
