We’re looking for a passionate Junior Industrial Product Designer with experience in luggage design who can turn user insights into exceptional product experiences.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Industrial Product Designer, you will be part of the new product development team, contributing to the design and execution of new luggage products from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sampling, manufacturing, and marketing to deliver designs that meet both user needs and business goal.

Key Responsibilities:

✓ Conduct user research, market analysis, and design benchmarking to identify opportunities and trends.

✓ Create design concepts through sketching, ideation, 3D modelling, and visualization.

✓ Build physical and digital prototypes and refine designs based on testing and feedback.

✓ Collaborate with manufacturing and sourcing teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency in production

✓ Participate in product testing and validation to ensure performance, ergonomics, and durability targets are met.

✓ Document and present design rationale, research findings, and design progress effectively.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

✓ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or Product Design (B.Des).

✓ Experience: 2+ years in the luggage or related product design industry, preferably luggage industry.

✓ Strong understanding of materials, soft goods construction, and manufacturing techniques.

✓ Hands-on experience with the design process from concept to production.

✓ Proficiency in design software such as Fusion 360, Rhino, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.

✓ Strong visualization, sketching, and 3D modeling skills.

✓ Good sense of aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality.

✓ Effective communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.

✓ Passion for creating meaningful, user-centric designs with attention to detail.
