Junior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer (Freshers)

As a Junior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer, you will work on enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, virtualization, networking, and cloud connectivity. This role is the foundation layer for Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise IT operations.

This position will also own networking operations such as switches, routers, VLANs, and connectivity between on-prem, cloud, and security systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in managing on-prem & virtual infrastructure
• Configure and support network devices:

1. Switches (Layer 2 / Layer 3)

2. Routers

3. Basic firewall configurations

4. Support LAN / WAN / VLAN setups

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Manage VMware / Hyper-V environments
• Monitor server, network & infrastructure performance
• Apply system updates, patches & basic security hardening
• Support infrastructure & networking projects for international clients

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fresh graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, or related fields
• 0–6 months of experience (internship or academic project experience is a plus)

✔ Switching & Routing/Windows fundamentals

✔ TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

✔ VLANs & Subnetting

✔ Network troubleshooting

✔ Understanding of firewalls & network security/IT infrastructure

• Virtualization (VMware / vSphere / Hyper-V)
