Junior Legal Advisor

Purpose of the position: Junior Legal Advisor

Roles And Responsibilities

• Communicate with and understand the legal requirements of Company functions and Business Lines.
• Perform in depth searches on laws and regulations, elaborate strategies, investigate facts and prepare documents to support the legal activities.
• Engage with local Authorities to understand and comply with local regulations.
• Ensure a constant monitoring and reporting of any relevant new legislation or significant modifications of the existing one.
• Ensure compliance of internal policies and procedures with the applicable law.
• Manage litigation proceedings in coordination with the external legal counsels and with Corporate Legal Department.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Good knowledge of UAE law
• Previous experience 3-5 years in a law firm or an international company
• Familiar with civil and commercial law
• Experience in dealing with Local Authorities
  
  

Will Be Considered As a Plus

• Master’s in civil, commercial and/or international law
• Experience in construction industry
• Experience as in house counsel
• Legal management experience
• Experience in any Judicial court in the UAE
• Working and/or studying international experience
• Knowledge of Privacy law framework
