Junior Legal Associate - Non Litigation

Job Overview:

As a Junior Legal Associate specializing in non-litigation matters, your role will involve providing comprehensive legal support to the organization. You will work closely with senior attorneys and assist in various legal tasks related to non-litigation cases.

Responsibilities:

1. Non-Litigation Support:

· Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

· Conduct due diligence and legal research for non-litigation matters.

· Assist in negotiations, settlements, and alternative dispute resolution processes.

· Provide legal support in business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

· Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and other non-litigation related documents.

· Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.

2. Legal Research and Analysis:

· Conduct in-depth legal research to support non-litigation matters.

· Analyse complex legal issues and provide accurate and timely advice to clients or internal stakeholders.

· Prepare legal summaries, memos, and reports to communicate research findings.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other legal associates and external counsel.

· Communicate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders and external parties.

· Assist in client meetings and depositions as required.

· Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Law.

· Admission to the Bar or eligibility to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

· Strong knowledge of non-litigation procedures, laws, and regulations.

· Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills.

· Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.

· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
