Junior Level PHP Laravel Developer - Job Description

We are looking to hire a focused and enthusiastic PHP Laravel Developer who can work in our agile and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating new modules to our solid PHP websites within the Laravel based framework, delivering projects with speed and preciseness, on time while meeting deadlines. He/she will work together with project managers and other Back End Developers. You will be responsible for delivering and developing new challenging ideas.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop, record, and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms

· Build innovative applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team

· Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools

· Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API

· Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues

· Document the development process, architecture, and standard components

· Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort

· Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Requirements

· Must be Bachelors or Masters in Computer Sciences or related field

· Experience of at least 1.5 years is necessary

· Basic knowledge of PHP web frameworks and a good understanding of MVC patterns

· Understanding of OOPs concepts

· Understanding MySQL -different models and tables, subqueries, joins

· Understanding Mongodb will be considered a plus

· Understanding of front-end technologies and platforms (Angular.js 8+) is a plus

· Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT, Bitbucket, etc.

· Experience with third-party libraries and APIs like Google, Payment Gateways, etc. is a plus

· Familiar with Linux environment and using command line

· Applicants who can write PHP code from scratch will be given preference.
