Role Overview
As an Junior Lighting Designer, you will:

Support innovative lighting design solutions from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with both aesthetic and functional goals under the team leader.

Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, clients, and other relevant stakeholders to integrate lighting seamlessly into projects.

Manage and mentor project teams to achieve high-quality outcomes that exceed client expectations, balancing creativity with technical precision.
Creative Design
-
Help Develop lighting concepts for varied environments under the Senior designer.

Present designs using sketches, diagrams, and mood boards.

Enhance architectural, interior, and landscape features while balancing functionality, sustainability, and budgets.

Discern unique lighting opportunities and craft creative, out-of-the-box solutions.

Ensure storytelling through lighting design that aligns with clients' visions.
Project Leadership

Work with architects, contractors, stakeholders, and relevant disciplines to ensure cohesive integration and alignment throughout all project aspects.

Internal Coordination with the teams

Manage technical lighting plans and fixture specifications.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, stakeholders, and other relevant disciplines
Technical Expertise

Maintain a thorough understanding of technical lighting design, including fixture installation and integration.

Provide options for seamlessly integrating lighting into architectural designs.

Stay updated on lighting technologies and trends.

Provide expertise in lighting layouts, control systems, and energy efficiency.
What We Are Looking For

1 to 2 years in independent lighting design consultancy.

Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Adobe Creative Suite, MS
office).

knowledge of lighting systems and controls.

Knowledge of various sustainability standards, including LEED, WELL, and others.

Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.

Strong presentation skills to explain and defend lighting intent.
