Junior Litigation Attorney - Top tier firm

I am currently working with a leading boutique litigation firm , who are actively looking to recruit a litigation attorney to join their Chicago office.

Responsibilities:

• This role will manage class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.
• Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
• Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top tier accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
• 1+ years of litigation experience - ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
