Junior Manager – Costing

Jr. Manager (Costing)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain standard and actual product costing.

• Perform cost and variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead).

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and operational efficiency.

• Ensure proper cost allocation across cost centers and production lines.

• Support CAPEX budgeting, tracking, and capitalization in coordination with engineering and operations.

• Participate in month-end closing activities related to costing, inventory, and fixed assets.

• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and cost reconciliation.

• Prepare periodic management reports and cost analysis.

• Coordinate with production, supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP (mandatory), preferably:

  • SAP CO (Controlling)

  • SAP FI (Financial Accounting, including basic fixed assets exposure)

  • SAP MM / PP (Materials Management / Production Planning – advantage)

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 8–10 years of experience in costing within a manufacturing environment.
