Role Purpose
As a Junior Marine Electronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in the integration, installation, configuration, and support of marine electronic systems. Your primary focus is on Navico-based solutions—including Simrad, B&G, Navico Connect—as well as complementary technologies such as SIONYX night vision, Lookout AI, JL Audio, Clarion marine sound systems, Lopolight navigation lighting and all other marine electronics related products. You ensure seamless system operation by supporting the full project cycle directly, from producing all supporting documentation which includes production of drawings, BOMs writing a clear scope of work, and performing commissioning and aftersales troubleshooting. You know how to integrate with third party and competitor equipment, and offer solutions that enhance and expand our proposal capabilities. You are an expert on related products, product specifications and applications, and you interact with sales, purchasing, service, marketing teams and most importantly customers to understand needs and expectations on one hand and explain system capabilities and physical limitations on the other. Last but not least, and you guide and train the Sales and Service teams to assure the customer have a hassle-free experience, thereby positively contributing to the organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
-Analysis of customer requirements.
o Acquire requirements from Sales team.
o Meet with customers as needed to discuss full scope of work, explain and guide them through our products and solutions.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Product selection.
o Develop in-depth knowledge of all related products.
o Expert ability in identifying which products fit the application.
o Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications through research and communication with OEMs.
- Identifying system combinations and integration options.
o Multiple solutions could be available for the same or equivalent result, the Proposals & Applications Specialist must understand and clearly present the different options and justify a specific choice.
- Produce supporting documentation.
o Technical drawings, Part lists/BOMs and clear scope of work.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support, including product installation, configuration, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
o Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly by collaborating with internal teams and OEMs.
- Manage and coordinate technical projects with boat yards and service technicians, ensuring successful installation, programming, implementation & commissioning to the customers satisfaction.
-Travel to various location within UAE and abroad and use a variety of tools.
-Comply with health and safety regulations of each work site.
- Competitors study and technical comparison.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Gather customer feedback for product improvements and enhancements.
Secondary duties:
- Be proactive in studying and learning in depth about our product technologies down to a basic scientific level.
- Be willing to learn about new technologies, that can enhance and expand our proposal capabilities in marine electronic systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
