Junior Mechanical Design Engineer (Arabic Speaking)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical building services systems under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Prepare mechanical drawings, layouts, calculations, and basic specifications using CAD software.
• Support the design of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems.
• Participate in design coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and ELV teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Assist in design reviews and address comments from senior engineers and authorities. Ensure assigned mechanical design work complies with applicable codes, standards, and local authority regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation, schedules, and reports as required.
• Support project teams to meet design deadlines and project objectives.
• Stay updated with mechanical engineering standards, codes, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of GCC experience (mandatory) in mechanical design engineering. Experience in building services mechanical design for high-rise, commercial, hotel, hospitality, or shopping center projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage).
• Working knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems.
• Familiarity with international and local mechanical codes and standards.
• Good coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet assigned deadlines.
• MMUP Grade A preferred but not mandatory.
• Qatar residency with NOC is preferred.

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
