Junior Mechanical Estimation Engineer - Fluent English

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and performing detailed takeoffs for HVAC (duct & piping) and plumbing systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Mechanical Contractor in Chicago, USA, while being based in our Cairo office.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC (duct & pipe) and plumbing systems, including all accessories.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using company-provided software.
• Analyze mechanical drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure proper material selection, connections, and system components.
• Utilize Excel (advanced formulas) for calculations and reporting.
• Support tendering and pre-construction activities.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1+ Years of Experience in mechanical estimation (HVAC & plumbing).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with takeoff/estimation software.
• Strong Excel skills.
