As a Junior Operations Specialist & Reinsurance Broking Support colleague in our Al Khobar office, you will support reinsurance brokers with day-to-day placement activities and help drive operational excellence across the team.


Key responsibilities

Reinsurance Broking Support (≈70%)

  • Assist with placement, renewal and servicing of reinsurance contracts.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (submissions, quotes, slips, endorsements, reports).
  • Enter and update data accurately in internal systems and tools.
  • Coordinate information and documentation flow between clients, reinsurers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support with tracking timelines, renewals and deliverables, escalating issues as needed.


Operations & Process Support (≈30%)

  • Contribute to projects that improve efficiency, data quality and compliance.
  • Help implement new tools and process enhancements; suggest and support system improvements.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to colleagues on internal systems and standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Saudi Arabia and other Aon offices to ensure consistent processes.


Skills & experience

  • 1–2 years’ experience in operations, administration or support, ideally in insurance/reinsurance or financial services.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new systems and focus on practical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); Arabic is an advantage.
  • Team-player mindset with good coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).


Education & certifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management or related field.
  • IFCE (Insurance Foundation Certificate Exam) is mandatory in line with local regulatory requirements.
