Junior Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Baking: Preparing ingredients, weighing and measuring, mixing, and baking according to recipes.
  • Maintaining Quality: Ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of pastries.
  • Following Instructions: Adhering to recipes, production schedules, and hygiene standards.
  • Kitchen Operations: Assisting with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Learning and Development: Observing and learning from senior chefs, developing new skills and techniques.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Culinary Skills: Basic knowledge of baking techniques, pastry making, and food preparation.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in measurements and presentation.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Following food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Working effectively with others and following instructions.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A willingness to learn and develop skills in the pastry field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
