As a Junior Executive – Planning & Strategy, you’ll work closely with planners, creatives, and digital teams to decode briefs, dig into research, spot patterns, and help turn insights into strong brand and digital strategies. This is a learning-heavy, thinking-first role at the heart of an agency.
Responsibilities:

Break down client briefs and business problems into clear, simple takeaways.

Understand the client’s world, brand, category, competition, and the agency’s role.

Read reports (sales, market, trend, culture) and extract what actually matters.

Support brand thinking with a basic understanding of branding fundamentals (emotional vs rational, branded vs unbranded).

Research trends, culture, categories, and competitors and present sharp summaries.
-
Know the difference between an observation and a real insight (and aim for the latter).

Use free tools like Google Trends and social platform insights to back thinking with data.

Help shape clear, inspiring briefs for creative and digital teams.

Actively collect, document, and share great work, ideas, and case studies (problem–insight–idea–execution).

Support planning across digital channels, understanding what works where, and why.

Learn how consumer and experience journeys play out across platforms.

Assist with basic performance tracking and reporting (traffic, sources, bounce rate, conversions).

Build a foundational understanding of SEO, SEM, effectiveness metrics, ROI, and impact measurement.
