Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using industry-standard software.
- Support senior planners and management in resource allocation and optimization to ensure efficient project execution while minimizing delays.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather data and analyze progress, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations that communicate schedule status and critical path analysis to stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings, contributing insights on timelines, resource needs, and scheduling conflicts for effective decision-making.
- Aid in benchmarking project performance against established metrics, fostering continuous improvement and lessons learned.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of project documentation, including schedules, reports, and change orders, ensuring easy access for all stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of project plans by providing input on scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Support the planning team in conducting risk assessments and identifying opportunities for schedule enhancement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering (preferably in Mechanical Engineering) and EPC background field is essential.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in planning or scheduling within the construction or engineering sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in scheduling software is a must-have skill.
- Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail to accurately interpret data and project schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities to navigate challenges and propose effective solutions.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the planning discipline are highly valued.
