Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, technically competent Junior Project Manager with a dual focus on software development and ERP Implementation. You will play a crucial role in supporting project lifecycles from initial discovery to final go-live. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that both custom software and ERP systems (such as Odoo, SAP, or custom enterprise modules) are delivered on time, within scope, and with high user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Assist Technical Project Leads in creating detailed project plans, milestones, and deployment schedules for both SaaS products and ERP modules.
- ERP Implementation Lifecycle: Support the end-to-end implementation process, including business requirement gathering, gap analysis, system configuration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Operational Coordination: Manage day-to-day operations for multiple concurrent projects; monitor progress and promptly resolve bottlenecks.
- Workflow Management: Maintain task assignments, sprint planning, and resource hours using Project Management tools.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the central point of contact for internal developers and external clients, ensuring clarity on technical requirements and project status.
- Data & Documentation: Track daily standups, sprint reports, and maintain specific ERP documentation (Functional Requirement Documents, Mapping documents, and End-user Manuals).
- Change & Risk Management: Identify potential delays or scope creep early; support change management activities to ensure smooth transitions for clients adopting new ERP systems.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with developers to understand software architecture and propose delivery solutions that align with business logic.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
- 1–3 years in project coordination;
- minimum 1 year in the software/IT industry.
- ERP Exposure: Direct experience or strong theoretical knowledge of ERP implementation cycles (Requirements, Design, Testing, Deployment).
- Methodologies: Proficient in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban; familiarity with Waterfall for structured ERP rollouts.
- Tooling :Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar PM software.
- Technical Savvy : Ability to discuss software architecture and database logic with technical teams.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and professional English communication.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience managing SaaS or cloud-based enterprise products.
- Basic understanding of financial modules, supply chain, or HRMS workflows within an ERP context.
- A "bridge-builder" mentality—able to translate complex business needs into technical tasks.
