Roles and Responsibility:
Procurement of Construction Materials

• Purchase civil, MEP, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, finishing, and interior materials.
• Read BOQs, drawings, and specifications for accurate procurement.
• Issue RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate rates, and place POs via ERP/Tally.
• Ensure timely delivery and procurement within approved budgets.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Develop and manage vendor database.
• Evaluate vendors on quality, pricing, and service.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and resolve supplier issues.

Coordination with Project & Site Teams

• Coordinate with PMs, Site Engineers, QS, and Stores for material needs.
• Ensure timely delivery to avoid project delays.
• Follow up on approvals, GRNs, quality checks, and invoices.

Cost Control & MIS Reporting

• Achieve cost savings through alternate sourcing.
• Prepare rate comparisons, cost sheets, and procurement MIS.
• Track deliveries, market rates, and vendor performance.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain proper documentation of POs, agreements, and warranties.
• Follow procurement policies and audit guidelines.
• Assist in contracts for labour, shuttering, and machinery.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma/B.E. in Civil/Mechanical/Supply Chain.
• 5 -6 years experience in real estate/construction procurement.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and vendor markets.
• Excellent negotiation & coordination skills.
