Junior Purchaser

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Purchaser to join our procurement team. The Junior Purchaser will support the procurement function by assisting with sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory control. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for operations.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications, pricing, and terms.
• Source vendors, obtain quotations, and maintain a database of approved suppliers.
• Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and follow up on delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation in compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse/operations to manage inventory levels and minimize stock shortages.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and vendor negotiation efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (industrial/manufacturing sector preferred).
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
