Job Summary:

This position seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Buyer to join our manufacturing procurement team. This position will assist in sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, components, and supplies required for production. This role supports the purchasing team by ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier compliance while maintaining accurate records.

• ERP/MRP system experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving ability.

Job Requirements:

• Create and process purchase orders in line with production schedules.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, and equipment.
• Monitor order progress and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist with supplier negotiations to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier information.
• Track and manage inventory levels, coordinating with production and warehouse teams.
• Support resolution of delivery delays, quality issues, or invoice discrepancies.
• Assist in analyzing supplier performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and industry standards.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field is a plus, but not required.

Experience:

• 0-2 years of purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing experience.
