Junior QA Engieer

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have between six months to one and a half years of experience in testing different applications, with a basic understanding of both frontend and backend testing processes. In this role, you will assist in designing and executing test cases, identifying software defects, and working closely with developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications. Perform manual testing on frontend user interfaces as well as backend functionalities. Log, track, and follow up on bugs and issues using defect tracking tools. Support regression and smoke testing to verify application functionality after updates or changes. Collaborate with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide valuable QA feedback. Gradually contribute to automation testing efforts using tools such as Selenium or Cypress. Continuously improve skills in testing methodologies and QA best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
