Junior Quantity Surveyor – Construction

Job Summary-Junior Quantity Surveyor

The Junior Quantity Surveyor supports the commercial and project teams by assisting in quantity take-offs, cost control, and contract administration to ensure construction projects are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of BOQs
• Support cost estimation and budget tracking
• Assist in preparation of interim valuations and progress claims
• Measure and record executed works on site
• Assist in variation orders and change management
• Support subcontractor measurement and payment certification
• Maintain cost records and commercial documentation
• Coordinate with site engineers and planning teams
• Assist in final accounts preparation

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
• 1–3 years of experience in construction projects (fresh graduates may apply)
• Basic knowledge of measurement methods and BOQs
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Familiarity with MS Excel and basic QS software

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: BD215.000 - BD250.000 per month
