Job Summary-Junior Quantity Surveyor
The Junior Quantity Surveyor supports the commercial and project teams by assisting in quantity take-offs, cost control, and contract administration to ensure construction projects are delivered within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of BOQs
- Support cost estimation and budget tracking
- Assist in preparation of interim valuations and progress claims
- Measure and record executed works on site
- Assist in variation orders and change management
- Support subcontractor measurement and payment certification
- Maintain cost records and commercial documentation
- Coordinate with site engineers and planning teams
- Assist in final accounts preparation
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in construction projects (fresh graduates may apply)
- Basic knowledge of measurement methods and BOQs
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Familiarity with MS Excel and basic QS software
