Job Description:
- Assist in preparing detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Support the development of cost estimates and project budgets.
- Help monitor and control project costs during the construction phase.
- Assist in managing and reconciling variations and claims.
- Support preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Collaborate closely with senior quantity surveyors, project managers, engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Assist in processing and evaluating change orders with accurate cost implications.
- Calculate material quantities required for different construction phases.
- Help monitor project progress and measure work completed against the program.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience in quantity surveying or civil engineering projects (internship or fresh graduates are welcome).
- Basic knowledge of construction methodologies and materials.
- Familiarity with quantity surveying software (e.g., Win QS, CCS) is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
