Working Hours: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM

About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior Ruby Developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and web applications. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career developers who are eager to learn and grow their skills in Ruby on Rails, API development, and databases. You’ll work closely with senior developers, gain hands-on experience with real projects, and build a strong foundation in modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Assist in building and maintaining backend applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• API Development & Integration: Support in creating RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems.
• Database Management: Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to design queries and manage schemas.
• System Performance: Help in debugging and resolving issues while learning optimization techniques.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code under guidance; follow coding standards.
• Testing & Deployment: Contribute to testing (RSpec, Minitest) and support CI/CD activities.
• Collaboration & Learning: Work with product managers, QA engineers, and designers while learning from senior developers.
• Problem Solving: Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and contribute ideas for improvements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Experience:
• 0–3 years of professional experience as a Ruby Developer (internships or academic projects also considered).
• Exposure to Ruby on Rails and web application development.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic knowledge of Ruby, Rails, and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
