Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Junior Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This is the perfect entry-level role for someone who loves photography, enjoys connecting with people, and is eager to learn about the technical world of camera gear.

You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them navigate our products and services. Your primary goal will be to provide an exceptional customer experience by listening to their needs, offering reliable advice, and ensuring they leave with the right gear for their creative journey. You will receive comprehensive training on our products and sales processes, setting you up for a successful career in sales and the photography industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales:
• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Actively listen to customer needs, from beginners to professionals, to understand their photography goals and challenges.
• Provide expert product advice and recommendations based on the customer's needs and budget, embodying our promise of "the best gear advice."
• Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively.
• Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Strive to meet and exceed individual and store sales targets.
• Product Knowledge & Development:
• Participate in training sessions to build and maintain deep knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, accessories, and other products we carry.
• Stay updated on the latest photography trends, gear releases, and technologies.
• Learn the core differences between brands and product lines to provide unbiased advice.
• Store Operations:
• Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store, ensuring products are displayed correctly and the showroom is tidy.
• Assist with receiving new stock, pricing, and labeling merchandise.
• Help maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock counts.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
• Hands-on experience with DSLR, Mirrorless, or other advanced camera systems.
• Active involvement in photography communities (online or offline).
• Technical aptitude for learning about complex products.
