We are seeking a motivated and passionate SIMULATION / CALCULATION engineer with Mechanical design skills to join our dynamic Mech team for the Simulation, design and development of electric motors for robotics.

What will your job be about?

- Work together with the mechanical team, the production team, and the testing team

Thermals:

- Help estimate how warm the electric motor will get.

- Calculations: Utilize analytical formulas to calculate thermal effects, and cooling fluid properties.

- Simulation: Run CFD simulations and thermal heat transfer (conductive) simulations in 3D.

Electromagnetics:

- Calculations: Help setting up our simplified calculation tools to quickly dimension electric motors.

- Simulations: Run our in house simulation tool to find optimal electric motors fulfilling application and customer requirements. General understanding of electric motors is sufficient.

Mechanical simulations: support with mechanical analysis of components and systems.

Product design: leverage your learnings from simulation to improve the design of the electric motors.

Qualifications and requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Proficiency in engineering FEA simulation (focus on Thermals & mechanical, general understanding of electromagnetics is an advantage).

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion360) for design and modeling.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

The recruiting process will be as follow:

3. We'll then have a second round with an assignment (CAD, Simulation, problem solving).
