Junior Shopify Web developer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Shopify Junior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support theme customization, store setup, frontend updates, and day-to-day Shopify tasks. This role is perfect for someone with foundational web development skills who wants to grow in eCommerce and Shopify development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and customizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Update website layout, sections, and design elements based on brand guidelines
• Help implement new pages, navigation changes, and content updates
• Troubleshoot Shopify storefront issues and perform basic bug fixes
• Support app installations, integrations, and configuration
• Optimize store performance, including speed and mobile responsiveness
• Work with senior developers and designers to deliver high-quality Shopify experiences
• Perform QA testing to ensure changes render correctly across devices and browsers

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of Shopify platform and Shopify themes
• Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid
• Understanding of responsive design and modern UI/UX principles
• Ability to troubleshoot minor layout or code issues
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Shopify themes like Dawn, Prestige, or other popular templates
• Familiarity with Shopify apps, metafields, and basic SEO setup
• Understanding of Git or version control is a plus
• Portfolio or sample projects showcasing frontend or Shopify work
