Junior SQA Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer at TAK Devs PVT LTD, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, conducting various types of testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to create comprehensive test plans that align with project goals and client requirements.
• Test Case Design: Develop detailed test cases and test scripts based on software specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases to identify defects, verify bug fixes, and validate new features.
• Automation Testing: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing to ensure the stability of the software after code changes.
• Performance Testing: Plan and execute performance tests to identify bottlenecks and optimize software performance.
• Security Testing: Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the safety of user data.
• Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing: Ensure the software functions correctly on various browsers, operating systems, and devices.
• Defect Management: Document and track defects, communicate issues to the development team, and collaborate to resolve them.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements, best practices, and tools to enhance the QA process and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of proven experience as an SQA Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and test scripts.
• Knowledge of software development processes, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with security testing tools and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
