Junior SQA Engineer

E-strats looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior SQA Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing, with a solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience working with hardware or device-based testing will be considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Execute test cases, test plans, and regression suites based on project requirements.
• Report, track, and verify bugs using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and designers to ensure smooth testing cycles.
• Validate UI/UX consistency, functionality, performance, and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
• Participate in hardware testing and integration testing.
• Ensure timely delivery of test results and maintain proper documentation.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement within the QA team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of QA/testing experience, specifically in web and mobile app testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS testing environments.
• Knowledge of responsive testing, cross-browser testing, and API testing.
• Immediate joiner preferred.

Plus Points (Optional but Valuable)

• Experience with hardware/device testing (e.g., smart locks, IoT devices, sensors).
• Basic understanding of automation testing tools.
• Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
