Junior System Power Engineer

Smart Innovations Private Limited is expanding its technical team in Islamabad. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Power System Engineer to support our growing portfolio of electric vehicle infrastructure and advanced DC power projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to work under expert mentorship in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Assist the Lead Power System Engineer in the design and modeling of EV DC charging solutions and DC power distribution networks.

Documentation: Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation for emerging power solutions.

Testing & Commissioning: Participate in the on-site installation, testing, and troubleshooting of power systems.

Sales Engineering: Assist the sales team by preparing technical proposals and providing data-driven insights for client presentations.

Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in emerging power solutions to help improve company service offerings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in power engineering (internships in relevant fields will be considered).

Core Knowledge:

Foundational understanding of DC power systems and power electronics.

Interest or basic knowledge in EV charging technology and infrastructure.

Familiarity with power system simulation software (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, or similar).

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills to support technical sales and client interactions.

A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn from a senior engineering team.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) or a related engineering discipline.
