MediaCast is seeking a
Junior Technical Support Specialist
to join our After Sales Technical Department in Istanbul. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals passionate about technology, electronics, and AV systems, eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support to customers via email, phone, or in person for a wide range of professional audio, video, and IT products

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site or through remote access

Perform repairs, part replacements, firmware upgrades, and detailed inspections for returned or defective units

Conduct product testing, calibration, and validation to ensure functionality before and after repairs
-
Handle RMA coordination and communication with international vendors and manufacturers
-
Maintain and organize service tools, spare parts inventory, and workshop cleanliness
-
Support logistics team by checking inbound and outbound products for DOA and quality issues
-
Document all support interactions, repair activities, and product history using internal tracking systems
-
Assist in creating and updating technical documentation, repair guides, and service manuals
-
Collaborate with product and pre-sales teams for advanced troubleshooting cases
-
Support internal demo units and showroom maintenance by ensuring devices are always operational

Participate in internal training sessions and technical certifications to stay updated on latest technologies

Attend technical webinars or training sessions from manufacturers when required
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Electronics, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Basic hands-on experience (internship or 1–2 years) in electronics or technical support

Familiarity with professional AV/video products is a strong advantage

Basic networking and computer troubleshooting skills

Proficiency with Windows and macOS systems

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
