About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Tunnel Engineer with hands on experience in tunnel design, including structural support systems and permanent lining.

Key Responsibilities

• Support detailed tunnel design, including structural support and permanent lining systems
• Assist in analysis, design computations, and preparation of technical reports
• Prepare specifications, proposals, and engineering documentation
• Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, and other design disciplines
• Contribute to design reviews and ensure outputs meet required technical standards
• Support project delivery in line with time, cost, and quality expectations
• Assist in tender preparation and technical submissions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3 6 years of experience in tunnelling or underground infrastructure projects
• Exposure to tunnel design, including lining and support systems
• Familiarity with relevant design standards and engineering practices
• Experience with design and analysis tools (e.g. PLAXIS, MIDAS, or similar) is an advantage
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
