Junior UI/UX Designer

Karachi, Pakistan

About Us:

ArmazeLabs builds in-house SaaS products and designs for select clients. We move fast, value clarity, and keep teams aligned through tight processes and great communication. We’re hiring a Team Coordinator to keep our product, design, and engineering squads running smoothly on-site.

Important:

  • This role is strictly on-site at our Gulshan-e-Iqbal office.
  • Karachi residents only (or candidates willing to relocate to Karachi immediately).

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end UX for SaaS products (web, mobile, dashboards).
  • Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and dev-ready specs in Figma.
  • Run lightweight discovery: problem framing, requirement mapping, and hypothesis-driven experiments.
  • Partner with engineers for handoff, QA, and iterative improvements.
  • Contribute to accessibility, responsiveness, and performance-minded design.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1 > 2 years professional experience as a UI/UX Designer.
  • Strong Figma expertise (Auto Layout, Variants, Component Properties, Variables, Styles, Library usage, Prototyping).
  • Proven work across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and admin dashboards.
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking for SaaS (not just visuals).
  • Comfortable with developer handoff (constraints, redlines, interactions, and states).
  • Solid grasp of UX fundamentals: IA, interaction patterns, usability heuristics, accessibility basics (WCAG-aware).
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • On-site availability at Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred and will be prioritized)

  • Hands-on experience building or maintaining a scalable design system (tokens, variants, documentation).
  • Exposure to design tokens and multi-brand theming.
  • Experience with analytics/telemetry-driven iteration (funnels, retention, heatmaps).
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools (Jira/Linear, Notion).
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to reason about feasibility (no coding required).

Note: Candidates with strong design system experience will be preferred and entertained first.

Tools We Use

  • Figma, FigJam, Slack, Linear/Jira, Zeplin/Dev Mode, Miro, Loom.

What We Offer

  • Work on meaningful SaaS products with real users.
  • Ownership of features and measurable impact.
  • A culture that values systems thinking and craft.
  • Competitive salary in Rs, learning budget, and an on-site environment that encourages rapid collaboration.
