Junior WordPress Web Developer

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Web Developer to assist in building and maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites and landing pages using WordPress. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, eager to learn, and has a good understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and basic front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Work with the design team to convert Figma/PSD files into responsive WordPress templates.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and plugin conflicts.
• Support website updates and content management tasks.
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and content teams on ongoing projects.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of WordPress (dashboard, themes, plugins).
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of PHP basics and how it integrates with WordPress.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
• Ability to use tools like Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with cPanel, FTP, or website hosting platforms.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or SEO tools.

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is a plus (not always required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
