Job Description:

The Key Account Analyst – Compliance will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and ensuring compliance across client accounts and internal operations. This role ensures adherence to US federal and state regulations, data protection laws, and client-specific contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in compliance, risk management, or audit, with strong analytical and documentation skills, and familiarity with compliance expectations in healthcare, finance, or technology environments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with US laws, regulations, and industry standards, including HIPAA, SOX, and data privacy requirements.
  • Review and maintain accurate documentation and records in line with client contracts and regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in finance, accounting, and operations to ensure consistent compliance practices across all functions.
  • Identify and report potential compliance gaps, risks, or breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor changes in US regulations and ensure timely adoption of updated compliance procedures.
  • Support clients in understanding and meeting their regulatory and reporting obligations.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports, audit summaries, and findings for management and client review.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and governance across all systems, including QuickBooks and CRM platforms.
  • Provide compliance guidance and training to internal teams as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • ACCA qualification, CPA, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation preferred.
  • Proven experience in US taxation, including preparation and review of federal and state returns.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, including reconciliations, journal entries, and taxrelated reporting.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and IRS regulations.
  • Experience working with US-based clients in sectors such as healthcare, technology, or finance.
  • Excellent understanding of tax forms, filing procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with tax or reporting tools (e.g., Drake, ProConnect, or Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities in a virtual environment.
