Job Purpose:

The role of the Key Account Executive is to support the development and maintenance of the relationships with the key accounts.

The Key Account Executive is also responsible for monitoring of the customer satisfaction level, and continuous improvement of the customer experience.
Succeeding in the role of the Key Account Executive will require strong business acumen as well as good communication and sales skills, along with the ability to understand client needs and requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Planning:

Understand the account plan.

Focus on planning all operational activities to ensure timely service delivery to the key account to ensure they achieve the planned results and create a consistent experience for the customer.
Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and ensure seamless support is provided.

Act as a first point of contact to provide customer updates, resolve customer issues and escalations.

Identify needs and opportunities within key accounts and ensure seamless support is provided.
Provide services:

Liaise with all customers, internal and corporate functions.

Take the necessary actions to secure all shipments of the account are completed in time and according to agreed quality standards.
Resolve issues:
-
Handle complaints or issues in first line.

Ensure that appropriate measures are taken to prevent and resolve issues and customer complaints.
Reporting:

Track all contracted services and submit monthly reports to Commercial Director on services provided, issues identified, and solutions offered.

Extract and create reports from the system on the status of the shipments and operations to update customers.
Collection:

Oversee the accounts process to guarantee timely collection from clients.

Work closely with the finance and billing departments to identify and rectify any billing discrepancies, ensuring swift resolution of payment issues.
Business portfolio:

expanding the business portfolio with existing key clients entails cultivating robust relationships, conducting needs analyses, providing tailored solutions, and strategically introducing complementary services. This necessitates effective communication, collaboration, and adaptability to market dynamics.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience of commercial shipping experience
