Role Overview
- We are seeking a Events Sales specialist with solid experience in events management, and Exhibitions. This role requires leading client relationships, managing end-to-end campaigns, and delivering impactful brand experiences on time and within budget. You will manage top-tier accounts, collaborate with world-class brands, and be empowered to pitch bold ideas that translate into real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients, decision-makers, and target markets across corporate events, weddings, festivals, and conferences.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, social media, and attendance at industry events and trade shows.
- Qualify inbound and outbound sales opportunities using structured sales criteria to ensure high-quality prospects.
- Maintain a consistent level of outbound activity to build a robust and healthy sales pipeline.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct regular follow-ups, client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Customize event proposals to meet clients’ objectives, budgets, and expectations while ensuring high engagement and satisfaction.
Sales Execution & Reporting
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and sales pitches tailored to individual client needs.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets aligned with overall company revenue goals.
- Track and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools and present weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports to senior leadership.
Proposal, Contracting & Negotiation
- Develop and present comprehensive event proposals detailing all services, timelines, and pricing.
- Negotiate contract terms and close deals while ensuring clarity on client requirements and expectations.
- Coordinate with internal departments (event planners, production, accounts) to guarantee accurate and timely execution.
Post-Sales Support
- Ensure smooth handover of projects to event operations teams while maintaining ongoing communication with clients.
- Provide proactive customer service before, during, and after events, resolving issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Account Executives to coordinate discovery calls and sales follow-ups.
- Share feedback with the marketing team to help refine campaigns and improve targeting strategies.
- Collaborate with the production and planning teams to ensure successful delivery of each event.
- Assist the Event Director in managing international sales agents and tracking performance KPIs.
Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement
- Stay informed on competitor activity, market trends, and new business opportunities through ongoing research and media analysis.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to network, promote services, and scout potential leads.
- Partner with marketing and event leadership to shape effective go-to-market and engagement strategies for exhibitors and visitors.
Finance Coordination
- Liaise with the accounts department to ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments from clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or client servicing in the events, exhibitions, or experiential marketing sector.
- Proven ability to generate leads and drive new business.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and results oriented.
