Role Purpose

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for driving commercial growth and market access for Biocon Biologics’ biosimilar portfolio across key therapeutic areas including Oncology, Hematology, and Diabetology within the UAE. The role requires a proactive, strategic, and relationship-driven professional capable of managing distributor partnerships, engaging healthcare stakeholders, and ensuring strong in-market execution to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales and market share objectives across assigned territories and therapeutic areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, institutional customers, and key stakeholders within hospitals, tendering bodies, and government institutions.
  • Collaborate with local distributors to ensure optimal product availability, pricing, and execution of commercial and marketing plans.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and tender dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support marketing and medical teams in planning and executing scientific and educational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence updates to management.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the biosimilars or biologics field, specifically within Oncology, Hematology, and Diabetology therapeutic areas.
  • Proven experience in key account management and tender-based markets.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE healthcare ecosystem and institutional business model.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
