Key Account Manager

Key Account Manager (KAM) – Small Domestic Appliances

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh / Jeddah / Dammam)


Job Purpose:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, distribution expansion, and strategic partnerships across key retail and e-commerce customers in the Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) category. The role focuses on Joint Business Planning (JBP), execution excellence, trade investment optimization, and long-term account development within the Saudi market.


Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Growth

  • Manage and grow key accounts across Modern Trade, and strategic partners in KSA.
  • Own commercial negotiations, annual agreements, and Joint Business Plans (JBP).
  • Deliver sell-in and sell-out targets, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Drive distribution expansion, SKU productivity, and range optimization.

Commercial & Financial Ownership

  • Prepare and manage account forecasts, budgets, and phasing plans.
  • Control trade spends, margins, and ROI, in line with company targets.
  • Monitor pricing architecture, promotions, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Ensure accuracy in forecast vs. actuals, identifying gaps and corrective actions.

Execution Excellence

  • Ensure in-store excellence: visibility, availability, merchandising, planogram compliance, and POS execution.
  • Drive new product launches (NPDs) with strong execution plans and post-launch reviews.
  • Coordinate promotions, campaigns, and seasonal activations (Ramadan, Back-to-School, White Friday, etc.).
  • Work closely with field teams and merchandisers to ensure execution quality.

E-commerce & Omnichannel

  • Support growth across online retailers and D2C platforms.
  • Collaborate on online assortment, content readiness, reviews, and campaign planning.
  • Monitor OOS, MSLs, and fulfilment KPIs to protect online availability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Align internally on forecasting, stock planning, and campaign readiness.
  • Contribute to market insights, customer feedback, and competitor intelligence.


Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of SDA categories (Kitchen, Cleaning, Cooling, Personal Care, etc.)
  • Experience in Joint Business Planning and data-driven decision making
  • Hands-on, execution-focused mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix organization


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5–8 years of Key Account Management experience in Consumer Electronics / SDA / FMCG
  • Proven experience managing major retailers in KSA
  • Omnichannel exposure (offline + online) is a must
