Job Summary

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with major clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and increasing business opportunities for the company. The role requires coordination between clients, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and major customers.
  • Understand client logistics requirements and provide suitable solutions.

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Increase shipment volume and revenue from key accounts.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing with customers.

Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.
  • Monitor shipment status and update customers regularly.
  • Resolve any service or operational issues quickly.

Financial Follow-Up

  • Monitor client payments and coordinate with the finance team.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and credit approvals.
  • Ensure company payment terms are followed.

Reporting

  • Prepare monthly reports on client performance and shipment volume.
  • Track revenue generated from key accounts.
  • Provide management with business development updates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in logistics or freight forwarding
  • Good knowledge of Oman logistics and customs clearance procedures
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience handling major logistics clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts
