Job Summary:

The Client facing, Al Khobar based Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional service. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions in the Kingdom and as a part of our global team.


Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business operations and risk profiles to recommend suitable insurance products and services.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products and services to existing clients. Actively support New Business Teams to seek new opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Account Management: Handle the renewal process, including reviewing existing coverage and suggesting updates. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with finance, claims, and other departments to ensure client needs are met and provide continuous support.
  • Market Analysis: Provide reports, presentations, and recommendations on market trends, customer trends, and competitors' actions.
  • Problem Resolution: Working closely with our claims team, assist clients in navigating the claims process and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of account management strategies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Insurance, Risk Management, Risk Engineering or Actuary preferred)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience - proven experience in account management, in the insurance industry.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic required
  • ACII, CIP UK certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
