Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to manage relationships with leading supermarkets and modern trade chains. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the retail landscape, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience driving growth and profitability within the FMCG sector.
Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with key supermarket and modern trade accounts (e.g. Carrefour, Lulu, Spinneys, Choithrams, Union Coop, etc.)

Achieve sales, distribution, and visibility targets across assigned accounts

Develop joint business plans, including promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and category growth initiatives

Negotiate trading terms, listings, visibility agreements, and promotional support

Monitor account performance, track sales data, and identify growth opportunities

Ensure proper execution of in-store promotions and merchandising standards

Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure product availability and smooth operations

Manage budget allocations for trade marketing and promotional spend

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies

Prepare regular reports on account performance, forecasts, and KPIs
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

4 - 7 years of experience in FMCG sales or key account management, focusing on modern trade or supermarkets

Strong understanding of KSA/GCC retail market dynamics

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing high-value retail accounts

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools

Valid KSA driving license
