Duties

• Design and implement fun, educational activities tailored to various age groups, promoting childhood development and early learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring children’s safety at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Support children with special needs or in early childhood education programs, adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to communicate progress and address any concerns related to child welfare or development.
• Lead engaging camp sessions, sports coaching, theater activities, or babysitting duties that foster creativity and teamwork.
• Maintain organized records of daily activities, attendance, and incident reports to ensure compliance with program standards.

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills to maintain order while encouraging active participation.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Experience working with children in daycare, camp settings, tutoring, or childcare environments.
• Certifications in first aid and child safety are highly desirable to ensure prompt response during emergencies.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for children with special education needs or behavioral challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
